This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Premises Manager to play a key role in ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

The successful Premises Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school premises, ensuring high standards of health & safety, cleanliness, and site presentation.

Key responsibilities of the Premises Manager include:

  • Overseeing the maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the school site

  • Carrying out and coordinating planned and reactive maintenance

  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, including risk assessments and statutory checks

  • Managing contractors and supervising work on site

  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and compliance

  • Supporting school events, lettings, and out-of-hours activities

  • Managing site budgets and procurement where required
