Role Overview

We are seeking a School Administrator to play a key role in the smooth running of our school office. You will provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to staff, students, parents, and senior leaders, ensuring that daily operations run efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies

  • Manage telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries professionally

  • Maintain accurate student records on the school MIS (Arbor/SIMS)

  • Support attendance processes and safeguarding documentation

  • Coordinate meetings, room bookings, and SLT diaries

  • Produce reports, letters, and communications on behalf of senior leaders

  • Assist with admissions paperwork and transition documentation

  • Support school events, open evenings, and parents’ evenings

  • Maintain filing systems and ensure GDPR compliance

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous administration experience (school experience desirable but not essential)

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Professional, approachable, and personable manner

  • Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality
